Our office is constantly pushing the boundaries of technology and what’s possible in dentistry. Working in unison with our iTero 3D Scanner, we also have cutting-edge 3D printing capabilities in-house with SprintRay to produce perfectly accurate dental models of your bite. From the printed models, we can then make both clear dental retainers and clear aligner treatments (like Invisalign).
After a digital scan of your teeth, a 3D printer can build an exact model of your smile in hard resin. These models are used to make retainers, aligners and some orthodontic appliances with a precise fit.

Because the model comes straight from your digital scan, there's no need for messy impressions.
It can. With your scan on file, a new model can be printed quickly, so replacement retainers often take far less time than with traditional impressions. If your teeth have shifted, a new scan may be needed first.
Yes. Modern printers reproduce fine details of your teeth, which helps retainers and appliances fit well the first time and feel more comfortable.
Your scan can be sent digitally to dental labs to make custom appliances, or printed as a model for the lab to work from. Either way, it saves time and improves fit.
